Stop blocks on the miter saw – a southpaw like me would naturally want the block on the right because of the natural work flow.
Is adding an Incra fence on a SawStop worth it? Or is the accuracy of the standard SawStop fence reliable enough. I am planning on buying a SawStop and was wondering if I should also buy the incra fence.

I would definitely start with the stock fence on the SawStop and see if you feel the need for an aftermarket upgrade. The stock fence is very well made and accurate.

Can I use the same compressor for the pressure pot for resin casting as I use for pneumatic tools, or is there some additional constraint?
Yep, same one will work. My pressure pot only calls for 45#, so it doesn’t take much.

Hey, Ron. A good height is the distance from the heel of your hand to the floor. Size depends on your projects, your space… My biggest bench is 4’x8’. I love it. A more common size might be 24”-36” wide, and a length that matches your shop and projects.
In the video provided with the plans for your Benchtop Tool Cabinet it appears that you’re using crown staples for assembling the cabinet. Do you come back with screws after tacking it with the staples?

I am making a live edge / slab sign. It will live outside. Is there anyway of protecting and preserving the bark along the edge of the sign?
Todd,
It will be tough to preserve the bark long term on an outdoor project. I’d suggest using spar varnish to extend the life as much as possible. I would thin first coat 50/50 with mineral spirits and slather it onto the bark pretty heavily and let it soak in.
