When I need to get glue on a big surface, like what I'm doing here, I need to glue these parts together to make a table leg, what I don't want to do is spend about four days spreading glue with this tiny brush. I want a way that I can get the glue on much faster, and in a nice even film. So I found that a threaded rod is a great solution for this. Watch how this works. I'm gonna get the glue on the surface.
And then if you think of a mastic knife for tile, you're on your way to the way this works. All I'm gonna do is pull that threaded rod through the glue. With that nice, uniform film on there, this project's ready for clamps.
