If you're applying shallot, which is something I really like to do, it's a, it's a finish that I really approve of sometimes it's hard to apply it with a brush or a foam brush and not get streaks in it. So one solution is to use a pad just uh clean white cotton cloth rolled up in such a way that you get a nice pad that's what we call padding and then you just wipe it on. It's a solution that if you don't have a sprayer. Is a great way to get it on without streaking. So if you're gonna be using shellac in the near future, which I highly recommend because it's a versatile and useful finish, consider using a padding technique to apply it without streaks.
It's a great way to get the finish that's nice and smooth and it builds up quickly.
