My workbench is 72"x26" made of 1-3/4x 3-1/2' hard maple with one red oak bord in the bench dog line for the tail vise. When the bench section in line with the vise was glued the clamps were removed too early and the end settled 5/64". Thinking is to use a router sled to get it flat. Rails would be 1x6 mdf attached with clips fastened undernearth the bench. 1. Are there commercial sleds that work for this set up? 2. Router is 2+ Hp what bit? 3. Thoughts,? 4. Is this a crazy idea? Thanks
