George: ever sprayed water-based polyurethane such as polycrylic?
I have one hand so is it safe to use a hand planer and how do u use one
my Minwax wipeon Poly is 2-3 years old, seems to be getting thicker--which I didn't realize until I applied it to a piece of butternut. It still feels tacky, not fully dry, so I'm reluctant to do a second coat yet. Could I remove that first coat with mineral spirits, or hand sanding (it's a small piece). or can I apply a second coat with a thinned fluid of the Poly and mineral spirits? If so, What proportions?
