Choose the Right Screw
George VondriskaYou know that choosing the right tool for the job is very important. Choosing the right fastener is just as important. Quickscrews has your fastener bases covered, and covered very well.
Assembling cabinet cases
Grab wood screws and we’ll assemble a cabinet case. Quickscrews case assembly screws have a bunch of good features: flat head so they’re easy to countersink, nibs on the head which helps seat the screw and a thread cutting tip to assist the screw entering your material.
Pocket holes
Pocket holes are a very specific woodworking task and demand the right screw. If you use a flat head screw in a pocket you’ll most likely split the end grain. So, we need a pan head style screw. The screw needs a thin shank to eliminate splitting, and a thread cutting tip because you typically don’t pre-drill into the mating piece. Quickscrews pocket hole screws have you covered.
Cabinet installation screws
When it’s time to hang cabinets on the wall you definitely want the right screw. Large heads, long screws, thread cutting tips…. You’ll find all of those features in the Quickscrews cabinet installation screws.

Good basic video, George - thank you. I had thought you would mention some tips for screw heads, such as Philips, Robertson, star, etc. I noticed that when you drove the pocket hole screws the screw stayed on the driver bit. 🇨🇦 Nothing but Robertson for me — the screw stays on the driver and doesn’t cam out like Phillips.
