What are the two products that you are specifically using for rust prevention and lubrication of the lathe bed?

Hi George, I'm pretty much a newbie on the lathe and I did lubricate the bed with dry silicone spray. The problem is, now when I tighten my mandrel to turn a pen, the tailstock keeps moving back and then I get chatter when I turn the piece. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

What are some product names for de-rusting and lubricating the woodworking machines?
