WWGOA LIVE! November 2016

I enjoy watching your Live presentations. Keep them coming. I am watching from Ridgedale, MO. I would like to ask a question. For years I wanted to buy a router and then I bit the bullet and bought one. I ended up buying a Kreg Table, DeWalt Router, Router Lift and accessories. I was truly disappointed. I thought that the router lift would bring the Collet to the top of the table for easy bit change. Was I expecting too much? Mine lift does not bring the collet to the table top. Kreg said that I should use offset wrenches. Is this normal or do some router lifts actually bring the collet above the table? I want to know if I bought the right lift. Lloyd

I recently purchased a piece of 10 inch wide by 10 inch long of red elm which was on sale at the local hardware store. I've never worked with elm. What should I expect, in general, in terms of hardness on my saw blades and type of finish.

Hi folks! I have a few myrtle wood blanks left over from cutting veneer. I've not worked with myrtle before. What would be a good project for this type of wood? The blanks are 18x4x6 inches in size. Thanks!
