Project 4

Moving on to week 4 of the WWGOA Woodworking Challenge, we’ve got another functional yet attractive item for the kitchen – a knife block. This unique design, originally created by Seth Keller, is a low-profile take on the classic knife block, perfect for kitchens with not too much counter space to spare. This simple project comes together pretty easily with a table saw and some clamps.

Check out the video below for some tips from Mike Rapp of Mad Raven Woodworks and to see his take on this week’s project, and then click the button below for the plan to make your own knife block. Once you’ve completed your project, make sure to share a photo with us in the Challenge Facebook Group!

I’m needing a project to tackle with my limited woodshop skills. Plenty of tools, willing to learn skills. The knife block looks great.
