Question:

Saw your video on finishing wood pens with CA and stick buffing compound. My question is this: what type and brand name is the buffing compound I should use?

Answer:

You can find stick buffing compound at most woodworking retailers, and also on line. Check out amazon.com for white buffing compound sticks.

I bought a wardrobe dresser to strip down and redo and add wood appliqués. The handles & drawer knobs are white with gold trim. Appliqués do I stain them to match the wood or do I paint them white with gold trim? I don’t want my project to look cheap & I’m stuck on what will look best? I hope someone can help me?
