Would this method work well if an area from the center of each cookie were drilled out?
Hi Robert. I haven’t tried this but I would think that it would work fine.
I do have a small band saw witch don’t aloud me to cut such large piece of wood. But, I have seen a jig for routers used to flatting down the sites of log cookies. Do you have a small scale plan for this jig that you can provide it to me. I will appreciate it.
Hi Samuel. Here is a version of the jig that you are describing: https://www.wwgoa.com/video/flattening-large-wood-slabs-with-a-router/.

I want to do wood burning… would I want to treat the wood cookies immediately and burn after? (And how long does it need to sit after treatment?)… Or should I burn them treat?
Hi Patricia. I would suggest treating the wood cookies immediately because distortion will begin to occur quickly. Then I’d suggest letting the cookies dry for a few days before burning.
Thanks
