You are spot on George. I also recommend using dusk mast.
A quick question if I may… I’m going to be making a project that I plan to flock and I’m wondering how far this stuff goes? I’ll be covering about 3.5 square feet in total, and in looking at Amazon, I’m seeing bags of 3oz. 8oz. 16oz… I realize that it isn’t a major purchase, but really do not want to buy more than needed, but then again, want to be sure I have enough to do the project in one step as I’m sure trying to ‘re-flock’ a nice project doesn’t turn out well..
Thanks in advance for any help on this subject and Thanks to WWGOA for all you guys (and gals) do for all of us… Much Appreciated to say the least.
Ernie
Thanks for the question and for the nice compliment. Here is some guidance from the manufacturer of the product that George used in this video:
One 3 oz. package of fibers will cover approx. 10 to 15 sq ft (based on reclaiming and reusing).
In practice, you will likely end up on the lower end of that coverage range, but don’t skimp on material. Give it all that it will take for best results.
