Every shop needs a pair (or more) of trusty sawhorses. Since most woodworkers only use them on an intermittent basis, it’s important that they can be stored easily without taking up valuable floor space in the shop.

These sturdy-but-light sawhorses definitely fit that bill as they can be stored flat, or they also nest together nicely if you prefer to store them that way. This unique design is within reach of any woodworker and doesn’t require many tools to build. You can knock out a pair in a weekend, and once you have them you’ll wonder why you didn’t make them sooner.
