I am looking to build a desk for my Grand-daughter. Although she is only 9 years old I would like to build one to last her through college. Do you have any plans that she and I could look at?

I was hoping to find a plan for a gun cabinet–preferably large enough for 8 rifles and some storage down below. Is there anything available? I have not been able to find any detailed plans on line, only photos of finished gun cabinets. Thomas

      Dear Gerald,

Thank you for your patience. In regards to your question-

We have an adult size version, but not a child’s size.

You could probably do some work to adapt this plan, but I would cross reference against the proportions of a child sized chair, just to be sure that you are starting with the right proportions.

      Sincerely,

      Paul

Hi Gregory. You can either place a single knob in the center, or I often place two knobs where I put each knob a distance from its closest side edge that is equal to 25% of the total drawer width. So, if the drawer is 40″ wide, I would have each knob centered approximately 10″ from the outside edge. From there you can adjust to what suits you.

I know your reputation with wood. I’m looking for plans for a full size platform bed. My original search brought me to you, but you don’t seem to have one – or I can’t find it. Searched under plans and projects, but there are over 100 pages to sort through.
