Hey Dean,
Here’s what the experts had to say about your question:

Hello and thanks for your question. You are better off looking at the cutting schedule table and purchasing lumber that is well suited for producing the items listed there rather than the bill of materials. Yes, you will want crisp edges rather than rounded over from the lumber yard.

I have a stupid question…In the Bill of Materials you list (for example) 1″ X 2″ X 83″. There is no such thing as a 1″X 2″ unless I make it myself; do you mean this to be 3/4″ X 1 3/8″ that I would buy at any lumber yard (sold as 1 X 2). Also, some 1 x 2 have beveled edges (The treated 1 x 2 have beveled edges). I’m going to make an assumption that these plans require square edges.

Wondering about part “N” – it’s in the cutting guide and instruction list, but now where in any of the figures, so not exactly sure where it is supposed to go or what specifically is meant by “lid support and lid support mounting board”.

Hello Drew,

Thank you for contacting us. I’m sorry, there is no video to go with this storage bin but you may find some useful information in the cabinet making section under the browse tab.

Sincerely,
