Perfect for the entryway, living room or even one end of the dining room, this handsome hall tree features a convenient place to hang coats, hats and umbrellas over a generously sized storage bench. Made from straight cuts of standard lumber and plywood, these hall tree plans are easy to follow for woodworkers of any skill level.

The hall tree measures about 70 inches tall by 45 inches wide by 21 inches deep when you adhere to these hall tree plans.

I’m a DIY’er and learn best by doing, even though mistakes sometimes increases cost. I’m also a Vietnam veteran, serving 18 months with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment atop an M-48A3 tank.

I need one of these badly. But, I would also like to incorporate lots of shoe storage underneath. Hmm, maybe with doors on the front, some sort of grating to let dirt fall through, then of course a slot for a dirt catch pan.
