I bought a Bosch 10 inch miter saw because of it’s compactness, but I am having trouble getting a square cut. Suggestions?

Hello. It’s possible that the saw needs to be adjusted so that the 90 degree detent will accurately position the saw. You should find instructions in the manual for making this adjustment on your specific saw. In general Bosch makes a good quality miter saw that you should be able to get adjusted to make an accurate cut. Often times tools are not perfectly dialed in right out of the box and need some minor adjustments to ensure accurate cuts.
