Project 5

Our week 5 project for the WWGOA Woodworking Challenge is a pretty cool one, and maybe one you haven’t seen before: a butter board and hand-shaped spreader set. This is a fun and relatively simple project that will hopefully get you out of your comfort zone and trying some new techniques. Originally designed by Paul Mayer, this butter board set can easily be customized to suit your tastes.

Check out the video below for some tips from Mike Rapp of Mad Raven Woodworks and to see his take on this week’s project, then click the button below for the instructions and templates to make your own set. Once you’ve completed your project, make sure to share a photo with us in the Challenge Facebook Group!

If you haven’t yet already, make sure to officially join the challenge so you can get each week’s project delivered right to you inbox. Sign up here!
