New Product: Mixing Mate

This looks, to me, like a great problem solver from Rockler. It’s the Mixing Mate. Its job? To help you thoroughly and neatly, mix finishes before you apply them. It’s like a blender for your shop.

The Mixing Mate is available in two sizes, quart, and gallon, and will go directly on top of the can of finish you’re working with. Cranking the handle on top spins the auger-style paddles in the finish, lifting pigments and solids and mixing them into the finish. Once you’re all mixed up, you can easily pour the finish using the Mixing Mate like a syrup dispenser in a restaurant. According to Rockler, the Mixing Mates will fit any standard-size gallon or quart can.
