I am looking to buy a 7 1/4" Black and Decker Builder's SawCat model 3037-09. The saw doesn't need to run just needs to be in good condition in the shoe and quadrant area. My saw has a broken quadrant which causes the blade to bind because the blade doesn't run parallel with the shoe. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Hopefully one of our readers will respond and you'll get the parts you need.

Otherwise, since you're looking for a saw that's broken in a way different from yours, so you can fix your machine, try Craig's List. In our area, Minneapolis/St. Paul, I also frequently cruise a local site called Free Market, http://www.twincitiesfreemarket.org Everything on the site is being given away. Since your best bet is getting a saw that doesn't run, but has the parts you need, you might look for a similar site in your area.

Thanks George. I am in the twin cities area as well. I will try the http://www.twincitiesfreemarket.org. I found another fellow that is searching craigslist for the same saw but he needs a different part off the saw. Hopefully something will show up. I will just keep trying.
