    Hello Joseph,

First, congratulations on your pursuit of a woodworking career, and for your stellar GPA. In order to provide some guidance on tool selection, it is first important to understand your specific interests in the field of woodworking. Have you determined what area of woodworking you might choose to pursue? Some of the options might include commercial carpentry, residential framing, finishing (trim) carpentry, cabinetmaking, furniture building, repair work, flooring, etc. Each of these areas requires a separate set of tools. Also, is it your intention to start your own woodworking business, or to join another woodworking company as an employee?
