I HAVE RECENTLY SWITCHED FROM PHILIPS TO TORX SCREWS FOR MY PROJECTS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT STRIP OUT LIKE PHILIPS. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS I NEED LONG BITS AND CAN NOT FIND THEM EXCEPT IN MIXED SETS. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN ORDER A SET OF 6" BITS FOR MY DRILL DRIVER.

Both my local Home Depot and my local TSC carry a variety of lengths individually. If you can't find it where you live, an alternative is to get an extension that suits your purposes and pop in an insert bit. (Incidentally, it is magnetic, as well.) This is also a good way of replacing cheaper Phillips bits when they wear out (which is often) rather than having to replace the entire, more expensive, long-shank bit.

The thing wrong with Yonak's answer is if you are usind thork screws in a pocket hole, the extension wont go in the pre drilled hole.

Bill could be correct, depending on the size of the pocket.
