I am a beginner. Is it possible to buy a quality tablesaw less than $2000 to $3000.00?

    Hi Carol,

Welcome to woodworking, and to WWGOA! For $2000 you can have an awesome table saw. What types of projects do you anticipate building? How much space do you have available in your shop? Do you have 220V power available, or will the saw need to be 110 volt? With your responses to these questions, we can be in a better position to help you with your choice.

    Cheers,

    Paul

Carol, have you looked at Grizzly table saws? I have the 10" cabinet saw 220V, 3hp for 10 years now and am totally happy with it. They make the same saw in 110V, 2HP now also.

I would suggest the Sawstop. It is a fantastic saw, great quality and is probably the safest saw you can buy. I love mine - sold a Delta and traded up.

    Good luck!
