Has anyone compared these two saws? I know they are expensive but I am trying to determine which one would be best for cutting large sheets of plywood rather than using the table saw. Thanks

Guide - I have Compared the 2 systems and the DeWalt system is a cheap copy of the Festool. The rvrail is bigger and the saw is not as smooth when gliding along the rail.

Quido, I use the Festool plunge saw and I have to say it is absolutely amazing. I have not used the dewalt tool but I compared them prior to buying and I think I made the right choice. I use it mostly for cutting sheet goods, but I found the cut to be so clean that I use it for just about any cut I can think of. It is fast, accurate, and it works as advertised. JP

I tried the Makita and it's really great. Cuts straight and clean of course. The best part is the pre-scoring feature.
