What's a work around? It's when you find a way to do something that isn't "mainstream." There must be a thousand examples. For instance, I need to produce a certain profile on an edge, but don't have the right router bit. Instead of buying the bit I can make multiple passes with other bits and get the same result. This has happened to me a number of times. Is there a tool you wish you had, but don't, so you work around its absence? Paul Mayer has devised a work around for a track saw. He has developed a great shop made jig.

Let us know your work arounds. We can all learn from them.
