CORRECT SAW BLADE CHOICE

    I AM GOING TO PUT UP CROWN MOLDING AND CHAIRRAIL IN MY HOME. I WOULD LIKE A SUGGESTION ON THE BEST CHOICE OF BLADE FOR MY MITRE SAW. ANY IDEAS

    That blade is specifically for sliding compound miter saws. If yours is not a slider, you might consider this one: http://www.freudtools.com/p-19-thin-kerf-fine-finish-crosscutbr-nbsp.aspx

    You need a high tooth count, 60 or 80 on a 10" blade, and a low or negative rake angle, 5-degrees to -5-degrees. Alternate Top Bevel tooth patterns provide a great surface on the cut, but dull more quickly than Triple Chip Grind blades. If you're cutting solid wood molding use an ATB. If it's a man-made moulding use the TCG.
