One Great Tip » Gary's Router Table

Gary's Router Table

A few weeks ago I received your DVD on "Router table tips and techniques". My old router table was a real pain to try and do something with so, after watching your video and looking at some of the advertised router tables in the magazines and doing the pricing I decided to build my own.

The photos below are what you are responsible for. I have just over $400.00 in it. Thanks a lot for the tips and instruction you provide in these videos. I've been able to turn out some decent looking stuff thanks to your videos.

Notice the state of the art dust collector. It's a Toro leaf vacuum and blower. It works like a charm. I use it on my planer and also for cleaning out the table saw.

The dimensions of the top are 2' x 5' and the fence is a piece of aluminum angle 3/8" x 3-1/2". The T-tracks and miter gauge slot all came from Rockler. One of the nice things is that I can use the miter attachments for my table saw on this router table also.

Very nice. I would like to see more about the leaf blower dust collector if possible. I have an old electric leaf blower I am not using and It never occured to me to use one this way.

Great job. I just finished a router table but boy do I like yours. I like the longer table especially for dealing with those long boards like baseboard and door casing. The leaf blower is ingenious. Thanks for sharing

I like the urinal in the corner. That's probably the single biggest timesaver I could add to my shop! Killer router table though too. Nice work on the T-traks.
